fetish carving napkin holder w/ Oak leaf
Here is a very nice early pipestone carving of a Napkin ring?? Acorn
and oak leaf. Not sure of the era but believe to be 1940's. This is
rather large, measuring 4.5 x 3.5 with the heavy ring having a 2"
diameter and length. Wonderful delicate decorations to the top of the
acorn.
Not sure of the maker. Most assuredly an early tourist piece from
Pipestone MN. Please note photos for condition and excuse my
kitty's hair in the photos. There is a few minor chips to the edge of
the ring. Otherwise very substantial piece.
