Early large cabinet card photograph
Thanksgiving play

This is an original cabinet card
photograph featuring what looks like a group of children reenacting the
first Thanksgiving.
A boy at the far left is wearing an interesting outfit with long hair
and beard. Maybe he is supposed to be the fabled Captain John
Smith. A boy dressed as a Native American Indian is seated cross
- legged on the floor. All other actors are dressed as colonists
/ settlers in early America.
Photographer's stamp in bottom right corner reads:
E.W. Bergren
Clarkfield, Minn.
Measures 8" x 10"
$ 65.00
