This is a large original cabinet card photograph featuring a couple of
gruff looking farmers or older cowpokes. The oldest gentleman is
a great looking character in suspenders and long wiry beard. He
has a handkerchief in his pocket. He is holding a bull, ready to
take out into the field or to auction. The younger gentleman has
a dark mustache and is holding three horses, one a baby tagging along
with its mother. A nice - looking barn is in the background and
showing some sort of rope dangling from the roof. Both with
floppy type cowboy hats.
Wonderful rustic farm scene and would be excellent framed.
This is most likely from the Midwestern United States, Iowa, Minnesota,
or North Dakota.
Dates to the turn of the century, late 1800's or early 1900's.
