An early 20th Century American wood and
painted duck decoy, circa 1920. Believed to be made by a
Minnesota carver but could be from Wisconsin as well.
Purchased from a collector years ago.
Early working tack eyes and missing it's weight or keel.
This folky bird is showing an old break or chip on side of
bill. Believed to be a Black Coot, but the original paint
shows a blue bill.
Nice appealing bird with a nice stance. Will be a nice
addition to any collection or rustic decor. Great gift idea
for the Sportsman in your life.
Approx. dimensions 12.5ʺ L × 6ʺ T × 6ʺ H
This is a utilitarian piece that was specifically made for
hunting. Would be a wonderful addition to your collection or
used in a rustic cabin, lodge decor setting.
