Estate purchase Bowie,
hunting, skinning, carving knife.
This particular knife is believed to be made in the 1940s'
and purchased from the maker in the Montana area by the
previous owner.
Overall approx. length is 7.75" by 1.25" at the guard. Blade
is very sharp and measures 3.5/8s" by itself.
The guard is and the butt are brass. The handle is obviously
the maker's identification as it is the same as the another
one I listed with a small part bone portion below the guard
(I believe it to be bone), and the rest is wrapped leather.
This is a wonderful piece that your outdoor sports minded
friend, dad, brother, husband or any person, really will
love. A unique gift. for Fathers Day or Birthday. Or add to
your own collection.
The knife is showing some file marks on the blade, but looks
to have very little wear as if not used.
Please look closely at pics - they are an important part of
our description. Email with any questions prior to purchase.
Thanks for looking.
