Antique Handmade Knife Sharpening Stone Mahogany Case Jack Sullivan MN

Handsome early Mahogany wood box case with brass name plaque on top for the maker and previous owner. Crafted to hold a large 6 by 2 by 1 inch carvers sharpening stone. This was found in Northern Minnesota in an estate purchase. The owner was believed to be a close friend to Jack Sullivan. The wood case measures 7 1/8" long by 3 1/8" deep and 2" tall. Both stone and case are in very good condition. The case has an old repair on one end, note photos. Great collectible for the carver or knife collector. Pretty just to have on display.
