Vintage shell box with swivel seat.

Used for duck and bird hunting. Research show made by American Gas Machine Co. Abbert Lea, Minn. Different seller's would put their label on the side. This one is worn off.
The seat pops up when you pull the knob, believed to be brass, painted over. The seat swivels. Very cool design. Made so you can sit and reach your shotgun shells. It works great. The leather handle is in very good condition.

Measures approx. 12 in. wide, 6 in. deep and 9 1/2 in. tall, w/o the handle

This is in nice shape for the era and the only real wear is the composite type lid shows edge wear. Great display for a cabin or lodge decor or
give as a gift to the sportsman in your life.
