Vintage from the fifties a
Cocktails, Theater or Mardi Gras cocktail party flare skirt.
Scarce 1950’s hand-painted and signed skirt by Eddie Tunic.
Made from a soft black rayon fabric with multi-colored hand
painted masks and martini glasses. Great felt, glitter, and
sequin accents.
This is signed by the designer. This shows what I believe
may be a theater depiction, showing tragedy mask or muse of
Comedy.
Banded waist has a side metal zipper and button closure.
There are two nice pockets on either side, one adjacent to
the zipper. Small tear at bottom of zipper that is hidden
and can be an easy mend. Other than that this is a pretty
fabulous rare gem.
Very large full circle. This skirt has all the tags still
attached and is in overall great vintage condition.
I have not tried to clean this and it was stored with many
other wonderful piece's of clothing from and estate. I will
leave that to the buyer although it appears clean and nice.
