In 1938 Peters Shoes, advertised for the Happy Hikers loafers.  This helping to date these great preserved women's shoes. Wonderful condition for their years. Some history: Peters Shoe Company was a prominent St. Louis, Missouri-based manufacturer established in 1892 by Henry William Peters. Iconic lace-up loafers that are so stylish and feminine.  Pretty Sable Brown leather. The insole coverings are a bit loose, but luckily one shows the maker. Some very minor scratches and usual marks but polishing will do wonders.

No size that I can find but I'm adding approx. measurements below. I'm guessing in that 7.5 to 8 in.

Outside approx.  measurements: Length: 9" Width: 4.5" Heel: 2" Interior is 8.75". (Please note measurements according to your size)

Very good used condition. Very lightly worn. Trivial surface imperfections if any.  Should respond to polishing quite well. Please see photos and email with any questions you may have.  As found in large estate. Many classic shoes will be listed. Thanks for viewing.
