This American antique basket from
the late 19th century has great form and wonderful patina.
It has substantial size. Believed to be Ash or Oak splint.
Scarce one of a kind gathering basket.
Tightly woven with two side holds believed to be large root
and elongated in shape for flowers or herb gathering. This
is very sturdy, with only a very few small breaks in the
weave. Minor imperfections that do not detract from the
piece.
Beautiful display and excellent tone.
Measuring approx. 34.5" long, 22.5" depth and 11.5"
high..
Very good condition, again with fabulous display.
