Late 19th‑Century Corner Cupboard — Hand‑Dovetailed Construction, Glass‑Pane Upper, Blue Interior

Handsome late‑19th‑century handmade corner cupboard, crafted in solid wood with a warm cherry‑brown finish and a soft blue interior. The piece features hand‑cut dovetail joinery, twelve‑pane glass door, and a two‑door lower cabinet for storage. Its angled back and tall, narrow profile make it ideal for farmhouse or primitive interiors. Cupboard retains the original 12 panes of hand spun glass, mid 19th century. Small crack in one pane.

American, circa 1880–1900, showing traits of Colonial Revival craftsmanship with primitive rural influence. The wide back boards and early saw marks are showing pre‑industrial construction.  A fine example of late‑19th‑century rural cabinetry.

   Approx. Dimensions
Height: 86.75 in.
Width: 42.5 in. across front
Depth: 30 in. inside corner out

Please note the hardware at one time was replaced. This was done quite early prior to the owners acquiring it.  Excellent structural integrity with honest soft surface wear. Glass panes intact but one small crack in one pane. Doors and latch operate smoothly.
