Unique handmade angled corner cabinet.
Late 1800s or early 20th c. This piece came from a one owner
family. As the story goes...
handed down through the generations. Believed to be made of
Oak and Butternut.
The maker was ahead of his time. Details that lead us to
believe he was a crafted carpenter. Doing back then what
cabinet makers are doing now, to utilize space wasted or
hard to get to in conventional corner cabinets.
This angled piece shows long visual glass appeal with three
generous shelving spaces behind each door. Three sections
for blind storage below. What more could you ask for?
Measures approx.
Height: 75 in. Width: 33.75 in. Depth: 9.5 in. sides
Inside corner to outer edge, 35"
Very good original condition, showing only very minor
cosmetic wear for it's years. The back is a painted wainscot
which really makes the piece pop.
The deep decorative sides show a great graining of the wood.
