This is a great piece for your
restoration project in your home. Whether you are an
architect, contractor or DIY'er, this a dream set. These
came from a
Scandinavian farmstead many years ago and all shelving was
destroyed before we could get to them. They would be great
separate or used side by side. Or as found as the divider to
rooms.
Beautiful Butternut mortise and tenon construction with
pegged joinery. This set stood opposite each other. The
blind front in the kitchen and serving area, the open
decorative section in the dining area.
Approx. measurements are 63" tall by 60" wide. The opening
measures approx. 10.5" tall.
The piece's show their original shellac finish with the
warmest, richest patina you could ask for. There is a small
old break in the panel with the serving opening but does not
show when
placed under the doors. All original hardware. Note the old
paint on the inside of each panel.
Really again, beautiful pieces and excellent condition for
