Details

An absolutely striking oak cabinet  made during the late19th century in America by August Cederstrand (28 SEP 1860 - Sweden, to 15 APR 1932 - Minneapolis, MN).
Wife Ida Gustava Brooberg married August Cederstrand on 5 May 1888 Hennepin County Mpls. August worked as an architect whose company built the General Mills Laboratories in Minneapolis 1928 - 30.
August Cederstrand Company. Note last photo shows the stamp on the back of the cabinet No. 48 1904

Extremely well made and heavy with wonderfully aged exterior paint. Two raised panel cabinet doors on top and two on the base. This is a two piece cabinet that is full of partitions and cubicles in the interior.
Original paint in a soft mint green color with hints of blue. Another unique and interesting facet of this cabinet is the hardware.  Top doors are sealed and locked with an original Cremone Bolt system.
Lower doors seal nicely and have a sideways cabinet pull, (I'm thinking added sometime later in life)

Approx. measurements:

Height: 83.75"
Width: 44.5"
Depth at base: 22"
