This is a hard to find table and makes for a complete dining set with the five matching Martinsville, Indiana Old Hickory chairs. Each chair has seven spindles in the back. Chairs and table are marked with a stamp: Old Hickory Chair co. Martinsville Indiana.
If interested the Captains chair is available although has been altered by previous owners. Please inquire.
This is one owner set and the family at some point in time added wonderful Navajo blanket textile coverings for each chair. Each with the motif centered. Both appealing in appearance and adding extreme comfort.
The table is in very good to excellent condition, the chairs are very nice as well, they show minor wear to the woven seats from normal and general use.
Unfortunately the previous owner early on added wheels to the chair legs and flattened bottom surface approx. 1/4" to do so, seat heights remain balanced and comfortable with table in every aspect....see last photo. A beautiful set.
Chairs measure approx. 36″ height, seat 19″ width, 16″ depth, height of seat to floor is 18 1/2″.
Table is 65" in length and 36" wide.
