Vintage 1950s Handmade Metal Dock Bench, Lake, Pond, Garden etc.

Made out of an old sheet metal from a car hood probably around 1950s - 60s. Great for outsider art, garden or use again as it was for years on an old lake dock. The builder was so good with his art that he used an "Oil Canning" process to keep the metal smooth and tight and keep the metal from buckling, pretty smart. Note the X  showing in the metal. Car guys would appreciate this.

This is attractive as much as it is useful. Well built to withstand the weather but attractive enough to use in a four season porch, Lake house, cabin, cottage or even in a restaurant, inn or office. Great conversation piece.

The back shows an even surface rust with the letters 'The .... A.... ANNE' can be made out. Mounted on the dock with the 2 by 4 boards, could probably remove if you didn't want them on it.
