So many neat things can be done with this
early piece. Fun primitive late 19th c open front
chimney cabinet with it's early white chippy paint over what
looks to be a cream or mustard. Three super large deep
shelves add to the charm and function.
Square nails and wire head nailed construction can be seen
throughout. Wide one board construction, decorative cutouts
at the bottom.
Measures approx.
66.75" tall by 29.5" wide at cornice. Depth 21.75" at
cornice. Interior measurement for shelves is 18.75" deep.
The issues are:
Knobs are broken and missing on the drawer, easy fix. The
original door has been gone long before our purchase, hinges
still there. A small chip, upper drawer edge, needs glued
back in place, see photos.
And there is a small chip at decorative front left angle by
foot.
