  Antique Victorian trunk, chest is covered with decorative paper which was patented in the mid 1800s.

The trunk body is constructed from wood and has a wall paper interior. Both functional yet often beautiful pieces of traveling history. These are very similar, if not used during the stagecoach runs in the late-19th century.

Approx. size: 24" long, 13" wide, 13" tall

Very fun labels can still be seen on the piece. Both from the American Railway Express Co. Both having the beginning of the trip start in Savage, MN. The leather handle is on top, some missing metal on front by the locking mechanism.

This is in good shape for it's age and displays very well despite it's mild level of wear from age.
