A charming mid 19th-century farmhouse drop-leaf featuring round turned legs that taper to the bottom. This table has a beautiful natural finish with a scrubbed top. Ideal addition to several interior styles. The table is a hardwood, believe perhaps maple? With a lovely warm color that is a perfect partner to the set of 4 farm chairs made of Cherry wood. They are very similar to a Mulching style or French design. Table dating to approx. 1870s - 80s and chairs a bit earlier. Both are Pennsylvania finds.
There is a storage drawer on one side of the table with dove tail joinery and a turned knob. Excellent craftsmanship with a beautifully aged patina on all pieces. Great for the breakfast nook or dine in kitchen.

Closed it is 45.5 inch to 23.5"

Extremely nice condition. The chairs are tight and sturdy. Note one seat has a small spot where the weave is missing. An antique treasure. Local pickup in Bemidji, Mn.
