Striking oak cabinet made during the late19th century in America by August Cederstrand (28 SEP 1860 - Sweden, to 15 APR 1932 - Minneapolis, MN). Believed to be used in RR depot.
August Cederstrand was an architect whose company built the General Mills Laboratories in Minneapolis 1928 - 30.
Stamped August Cederstrand on the back and dated 1904. No. 48.
Early aged exterior paint, two raised panel cabinet doors on top and two on the base. This is a two-piece cabinet that is full of partitions and cubicles in the interior. Color is a soft mint green or grey with hints of blue. Top doors are sealed and locked with an original Cremone Bolt system. Lower doors seal nicely and have a sideways cabinet pull.
