1880s Library or Parlor Walnut Sliding‑Door Bookcase
with Drawers – Craftsman Style
Item #: BNT3445 Our price: |
A stately walnut bookcase from the early 1900s featuring smooth‑gliding glass doors, paneled sides, and two lower drawers for storage. The cabinet stands approximately 5 feet tall and 5 feet wide, offering generous display space for books, pottery, or collectibles.
Its solid walnut construction and classic Craftsman styling — with clean lines, subtle crown molding, and rich patina — reflect the quality and artistry of early American furniture making. A versatile piece that blends seamlessly with Mission, Arts & Crafts, or traditional interiors.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Doors slide smoothly; shelves are solid; wood is well cared for. Minor age‑appropriate wear consistent with its history. The only real flaw being the knob on the lower left drawer has been broken off. Would need to be replaced to pull open. (both drawers do move smoothly though)
