This excellent early americana antique is a walnut secretary cabinet that stands 70.5" tall, 51.25" wide, and 22" deep. Showcasing a rich reddish‑brown hue with natural age patina. The upper section features glass‑paneled doors revealing shelves lined with beautiful remnants of old wallpaper, adding a touch of character and charm.

The middle section opens to reveal a drop‑front desk interior with multiple small drawers and cubby compartments — the desk insert is not stationary, allowing flexible use or restoration. Below are two full‑size generous drawers for additional storage.

Features: Glass original wavy display doors, fold‑down writing surface, removable desk interior, large lower drawers

Condition: Excellent antique condition with age‑appropriate wear; sturdy and full of character. Some breaks but nothing to take away from the charm - see by chain inside drop down and upper lower drawer.

Era: Late 19th to early 20th century
This cabinet has always been one of my favorite pieces because of its depth. The display area is unusually spacious, perfect for treasured objects, books, collections, or little curiosities that deserve a place to be seen. The drawers below offer their own sense of space and perfect room for hidden keepsakes. It’s been a beautiful home for the pieces that made me smile every time I walked past it. It’s hard to let go, but I hope it becomes just as meaningful for someone else.

A great statement piece for any farmhouse, cabin, or vintage‑inspired home. It blends utility and artistry in one unique design. Piece's like this are getting hard to find.
