This is what we believe to be a handmade
mission period chair from the Handicraft Guild of
Minneapolis.
This is also the history we were informed of the piece at
purchase.
Truly an authentic early period side chair dating from we
believe approx. 1910 - 1915.
Remarkably heavy and sturdy with exposed mortise and tenon
joints. Beautiful original fumed finish. Pictures don't do
the piece justice.
This would take a drop in seat of course and can be done
with the new owner's taste.
Approx. measurements: 39" T with a 17" T to top of seat. 18"
depth for seat, 16.5" W.
