Tall Three-Door Ice Box, Pantry. Old Mustard White Paint

Fabulous old time Americana

This came out of a small country store. It has seen what looks to be a wonderful early mustard paint and then white over that during it's years. The original hardware shows a old vibrant red.
Used for some time as a pantry.

At some early point, the top shelf probably held a monster chunk of ice so the proprietor reinforced the piece with wire.
These are not necessary to stay and can be removed, but we left as-is. There is drain hose and tray at the bottom as well. This the new owner can remove or leave.

An exciting find that is sure to make the perfect home in a country cottage or kitchen. Many fun uses.

There is normal wear for the age. The bottom shows a bit more wear on one side as the piece has been moved and loved during it's life.
I still consider this to be very nice for it's years, and the paint is seriously wonderful. Just the right amount left from natural wear and tear to make the primitive statement and conversation piece.
