Early 1900s 15" long monkey wrench
that is marked, COES. Coes Wrench co. was out of Worcester,
Mass.
Heavy and in very good condition, not rusty, or dinged
up. Solid bar handle with an incised 'B' on each side. The
jaws have on one side Coes Manufacturing trade mark and on
the other Billings, Made in the USA. They look like they
have minimal wear if that. The threads and movement are all
in good shape, smoothly adjust to a max opening of the jaw
at approx 3" between the jaws.
A very nice looking larger size adjustable monkey wrench for
the collector or for a gift for your favorite tool guy (or
gal)! Note the last photo shows a old ad that I found online
referring to this tool. It is not part of the sale.
