THE WISCONSIN INDEPENDENT ORDER OF
ODD FELLOWS
Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF). Odd Fellows are
also known as "The Three Link Fraternity" which stands for
Friendship, Love and Truth.
Odd Fellowship became the 1st national fraternity to include
both men and women when it adopted the beautiful Rebekah
Degree on September 20, 1851.
The three links at the top of the pinback are connected by a
couple jump rings to a larger round 1.75" diameter Wisconsin
Forward plate. Highly embossed.
There is a Beaver on it and what looks to be a farmer and a
navy soldier from the turn of the last century.
Curious enough I can't find a makers mark, I am selling
another that is from Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark New
Jersey. But again, can't find anything on this one.
This measures approximately 2.50 x 2.75 inches.
It is in good condition with a beautiful patina on the
metal. Not sure what the metal is made of, I can't find a
mark telling me.
