Rare original 5 x 7" lot of black and white photographs from the 1930s. All three are from an estate purchase many years ago and all three are of Thief River Falls (TRF), Minnesota history. They consist of a corner Co-op Service Station, large Gasoline Tanker Truck and the third photo is one that was with the other two. Two men showing name tags with the only legible name is EXPO 81. Not sure how it is related but perhaps will help with some genealogy in Thief River Falls.

Across the street from the service station photo is the Land O' Lakes of Minnesota building. Old vintage autos parked on the street and a light up neon sign is glowing in the falling snow. This service station looks to have been at 201 Atlantic Ave. in Thief River Falls. Early Gas Station lighting can be seen and two early gas pumps with globes on top. Note the old 1938 to 1939 Chevy delivery by the Land O' Lakes office. Photograph back states 'the late 30's'.

Next photograph is a great shot of a 1947 Ford Gasoline Tanker Truck. Consumers Co-op Association, Thief River Falls, Minn Gasoline on the side of the trailer. Here again we have two old service station overhead lights and a neat round large Co-op sign showing. In ink script on the upper right it says old station.
