This is a pair of antique Gothic Revival gilt-brass church altar candlesticks featuring triangular tripodal bases embossed with crosses.

Standing a perfect 19.5 inches tall, these beautifully proportioned candlesticks show refined and detailed craftsmanship you would  find with French church Altars.

Believed to be produced during the Gothic Revival. Engraved columns rise from substantial pierced bases centered by Gothic crosses, while cast acanthus leaf bobeches and their original finish complete the set.
