This is a Scandinavian carved wood ornate Nutcracker, beautifully hand carved in chip carving.

A great Kuksa style design and shape, typical of great Scandinavian folk art . A nice collectible piece to add to your country kitchen or as a nice gift! Highly decorative and functional if you wanted to use it.

Very good condition with nice old wood patina, a tiny bit of damage to the very front, note last photo. Does not distract from the display or use.
Hand made of hard wood believed to be dating to around the 1940's or 50's.

Overall length 6 1/2" x 2 1/2" wide.
