This is a wonderful find! A labor of love and very striking. My best guess, made in the 1950s do to the estate purchase. Hopeful the fabric will define the era by the design and colors :)

 It's hard for me to tell if this is hand stitched or machine but a beautiful creation of patchwork design! The colors are rich and dark and so appropriate for the Season.
I enjoyed researching the details of how these piece's were cut out and pieced together - you can tell the hard work behind the piece.

Suitable for a throw or smaller bed, this quilt measures approx. 55" x 64" and would look beautiful on a sofa or even as a wall hanging. Truly a work of Art.

Overall, it looks to be in amazing condition. Stored with other great textiles and sold in a family estate.
