This hand knotted pile tribal rug looks to be made with all natural dyes and handspun wool. Similar in style I've been told to the Asmalyk, Oriental Rugs or Nomad Rugs.
I've been mostly told that this pretty rug is a Persian, Tribal weaving or a prayer rug. I don't have the expertise to know the traditional design or maker.  I will leave the rug experts to this.

There is heavy fringe on one side. The weaving itself only extends to that end. Believed to be natural dyes and wool but again, not a professional in these rugs.

Approx. measurements: 4.3 w/ tassels by 3.08".

Good colors although have somewhat faded as you can see from the bright underneath. Still very pretty in any setting. From an estate in our town of folks who passed on but did much traveling.
