This is a classic, mid-century piece of American toy history: an original, unrestored 1953 Buddy L "Repair-It Service" tandem-axle truck. Modeled after iconic International Harvester trucks of the era, this rugged collectible features a heavy-duty red pressed-steel cab combined with a white utility bed. Made out of heavy-gauge pressed steel construction. International Harvester styled cab with a dual rear tandem axle (6 wheels total). This has a great graphic yellow, black, and orange "Buddy L Repair-It Service" side decal on each side.
Measures approximately 20 to 21 inches long. Loved and played with but still very nice. Scratches and some paint loss due to use as expected. Please enlarge photos and email with any questions you may have.
